L47 Becken

hallödele,
ich habe heute mal etwas berichtet was im wohnzimmer abging heute abend ...leider in englisch...aber man sieht ja wenigstens um was es geht

schlussendlich werden 8 L47 drin sein...die grössten um 28cm mittlere um 20cm und kleinere um 17cm

i siliconed 3 peaces of glass in one corner to install my filter...


top view...the filter foam will be squeezed in between the outer 90° angles...
the CZ- aifilter reactor will be on the inner part (towards you) and pump the water in the fish-part so the foam will be hold in place as the water flows throu


this will be my filter


with a glasscutter i cut all the glass i need (6mm) ii use petrol in combination during the cutting this makes the weel turn well and gives a clean cut also the breaking of the glass will be much easier!


with a Diamond layered foam pad i polish the sharp edges...best is to do that with water! watch your eyes...water keeps the tiny peaces in place or washes it away


with just enough silicone i cover the sides i need to scotch...


i place the glass where i need it...press it slightly so the silicon gets pressed out on both sides. after i spray a bit of soapwater on the whole siliconeand the glass. all wet incl. the Putty. this set alowes you to get any shape of the silicone after it's been moved over it!! just press is firm onto both sides in the corner and pull it fluently over the silicon part...maybe u need so repeat the whole thing...again dont forget the soap water! otherwise you'll get a mess that will be programed in advance. you can even use your fingers if you need special shaped silicone!


the wood is ready...

 

i use massive stones as a basement. the arrows shot the spaced that are important for the fishes to pass well. very important is it to have anough space in the back...between the stones and the glass...if cat's fight the weaker aanimal needs to have a chance to escape. if there are closes corners they might loose more than the fight! or they can squeeze them selves so badly that there is no chance to move backwards= dead!


here you can compare to the pic above...exits and hiding places are now covered. the stome that covers anything below must be thick enough to hold the weight you built on top of it!! wood might by better than more stones! = dead

piling up the wood can be done to look nice or it can be done to suit well for the fish!!! use the second one...if you're good ...both will be achieved. in this case ...i'm more or less happy with the first point...but there's enough places to hide and escape! you see the hiding spots

more will follow tomorrow as i got to wayt until the last silicone parts will dry....

i do not but any caves in for now..important is that the cats feel well. as baryancistrus in general dont really use a lot of caves i think if there is a femals and a suitable male and caves will be added...they might do it straight afterwards as the females usually want to get read of their full belly. so they will aroach the males soon as they are ready...but first i will check them out to see who is who...and how they behave...

Das sieht wiederum umwerfend aus. Ein absolutes Kompliment. Dein Geschick Genial. Da du keine röhren hast, fischst du dann die Jungen raus, um sie gut zu Füttern.

Sorry, ich konnte es nicht lassen aber der Titel dieses Bildes stimmt nicht, du wolltest um diese "späte/frühe" Zeit sicherlich L47 schreiben

Kommen die L128 auch in dieses Becken oder zu den L200?

nene da ich heute noch weitere 9 L200er bekomme... sind dann 16 tiere in diesem becken und das ist schon sehr viel...

die 9 L128er kommen in das ex-becken der LDA33 die ich zügeln musste
